Overview:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Own product solutions through their end to end development lifecycle ensuring high quality.
• Engage with customers and product management teams (co-located in Bangalore) to understand the need and design an innovative solution.
• Elaborating the feature scope through competition analysis, research on recent technologies and trends to deliver the best-in-class and often next-in-class solutions and iteratively work with customers to finesse the solution.
• Craft detailed use cases, design, build, test, and deploy stable, scalable, cost-effective, and simple solutions.
• Handle non-functional requirements like performance, memory leaks, memory errors, not just at the feature level but, analyses its impact at the solution level as well.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and promote best practices evolution. Mentor junior developers to maximize team potential.
• Show thought leadership through domain and technology presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Recommendation Systems, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Deep Learning.
• Proven experience in developing ML models and integrating them into medium to large-scale, customer-focused SaaS platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Spring, RESTful APIs) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with distributed computational frameworks (e.g., YARN, Spark, Hadoop) and the ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and ML workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about solving interesting problems for customers – ready to explore new grounds in technology and user experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to lead a team while working autonomously. Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their ML services.
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring.
