For Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology:

• A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II ofthe third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.D in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
  The candidate should have 03 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Professor-

• The candidate should have 14 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.OR
• The candidate should have 12 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR
• The candidate should have 11 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject/discipline concerned for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized Degree of D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Associate Professor-

• The candidate should have 06 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Super Specialty disciplines:-

• The candidate should have 04 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.OR
• The candidate should have 03 years teaching and/or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject/discipline concerned for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
