All India Radio Recruitment 2023: All India Radio, Thiruvananthapuram, a part of Prasar Bharati, has extended the date for receiving applications for Part Time Correspondent (PTC) for Idukki District until 30th June 2023. As per All India Radio Recruitment 2023 official notification, the position is open to candidates with a PG Diploma or degree in journalism or mass media, or a graduate with a minimum of 2 years of journalistic experience, and age between 24-45 years. The PTC will be engaged on a part-time contractual basis as per the Revised Scheme for engagement of PTCs, subject to the satisfactory rendering of services, with a maximum limit of Rs. 9250 per month, including conveyance and communication charges.
As mentioned in the official notification for All India Radio Recruitment 2023, the engagement of PTCs will be on a contractual retainer ship basis, and the selection process will involve an interview assessing the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, knowledge about the district and state, current affairs, awareness of welfare schemes of the Central Government, acquaintance with radio news, journalistic aptitude, writing skills, and familiarity with communication technologies. The candidate’s work performance will be monitored for three months, and the contract will be renewed on a monthly basis. If the work is found satisfactory, the contract may be extended till the candidate attains the age of 60 years.

As mentioned in official notification for All India Radio Recruitment 2023, the applicant must be between 24 and 45 years of age as of the last day of advertisement.
As per All India Radio Recruitment 2023 official notification, the applicant must have a PG Diploma/Degree in Journalism/Mass Media or be a Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of journalistic experience.
The applicant should also have knowledge of computers and word processing, possession of news-gathering devices, and should reside at the respective district Headquarters or within a radius of 10 km from the District Headquarters/Municipal limit in the district for which he/she is being engaged.
According to the Official notification for All India Radio Recruitment 2023, the monthly remuneration for the Part-Time Correspondent will be calculated as per NSD’s circular dated 22.12.2022, subject to the satisfactory rendering of service to be certified by the RNU Head. All India Radio with a maximum limit of Rs. 9250/- per month, including conveyance and communication charges.
