• Candidates should have Proficiency in English or Hindi.
• Candidates should have General knowledge of computer applications
• Candidates should have knowledge of practical rules in audio editing ability. Proficiency in various fonts of English and Hindi typing.

Age Limit for All India Radio Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification for All India Radio Recruitment 2024, the age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 50 years as on 16-1-2024.

Salary for All India Radio Recruitment 2024:

An inexperienced casual news editor, newsreader, and translator (Hindi/Urdu) will get Rs. 1875 for a full-time shift and Rs. 2400 for more than 3 years of experience, in addition to this for a time shift. For the shift, the inexperienced will be paid Rs 975 and those with more than 3 years of experience will be paid Rs 1200.

• Broadcast Assistant will be paid Rs 1500 for a full-time shift.

For Casual News Editor:

The selection process involves two stages:

Written examination and interview (100 marks).

• In the written examination, their journalistic and professional ability as well as knowledge of Hindi, will be assessed. The qualifying marks in written examination will be 50. Those who qualify for the written examination will be interviewed by the Selection Committee to assess their overall personality and suitability for Radio News.

Newsreader cum Translator:

The selection process involves two stages:

Written Test Voice Test and Interview (100 marks)

• The syllabus of the written examination includes translation from English to Hindi or Urdu and vice versa, short notes on current affairs and general knowledge, etc. All questions are to be answered in the language for which the candidate has applied. The duration of the written examination will be 03 hours.

Broadcast Assistant:

The selection process involves two stages-

• Written Test for General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 Marks) and Practical Proficiency Test in Computer Operation for Various Audio Formats (100 Marks).
