APSC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Director in the Directorate of Economics and Statistics under the Transformation and Development Department, Government of Assam. As per the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2023, there is 01 vacancy for the mentioned position. The maximum age limit for applying for the given job post should not be less than 35 years and not more than 45 years. The selected candidates will get a Pay Scale of Rs.30000 to Rs.110000 + Grade Pay of Rs.13300 + Other Allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month). The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have at least 2nd class Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics from a recognized University or its equivalent or the candidates should have a degree from a recognized University with Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics as a Subject and a Diploma recognized by Government obtained after at least 02 years Post Graduate Training in Statistics. The candidates should not have less than 10 years of experience in Statistical Work/ Investigation/ Research in a Government Department or commercial concern of repute or in conducting and guiding Research in Statistics in a University or Institute of Training and Research as evidenced by published work.
According to the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2023, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of a Screening/ Written Test and Viva-Voice/ Interview conducted by the committee. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online by filling out the application form available on the official website of APSC and submit it to the same website. As per the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee according to the categories (mentioned below in the article).
