As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post should have a graduate ln Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable. (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed). A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an institute recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or at least three years of experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper News/Public Relations 0rganization/Government Public Relations Department. Candidates should have a good command of English. Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state. Knowledge of Computer Application the candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months’ Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt recognized institute’ (Upload relevant mark sheet/certificate reflecting the subjects).
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post must have crossed the age of 21 years and the maximum age limit for this job post is 38 years. The upper age limit is relaxable as –
(i) By 5 years lor SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates of Assam i.e, upto 43 year.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/ltlOBC candidates of Assam i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 251h April 2018.
(iii) For persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates i.e. upto 48 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144i95/121 dated Dispur the 28th of October 2015.
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will get a monthly salary between Rs. 30000-110000.
