APSC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Assistant Director in the Directorate of Town and Country Planning, Assam under the Department of Housing & Urban Affairs. As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for eight (08) vacancies. Candidates receive a monthly salary based on a Rs. 1,10,000 pay scale. The pay scale plus grade pay plus any other benefits that may occasionally be granted to workers of the Assam State Government. The candidate must be an Assamese permanent resident. The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023. The candidates who are alone suffering from a relevant impairment of at least 40% are entitled to reservations and other relaxations allowed by the legislation.
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the State Govt. Employees from Assam are not required to present any papers for evidence of residence; nevertheless, they must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer, as well as a copy of the accepted intimation letter for the NOC from the competent authority of the appropriate Department. The candidates must submit their applications online via the APSC’s website. The application will be immediately rejected if submitted through any other method or manner. Candidates will be selected through personal interviews. The candidate must present the hard copy of the online application, the original documents or certificates along with self-attested copies, at the time of the interview. The closing date for application submission is 02-10-2023.
