APSC Recruitment 2023:Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the Senior Information & Public Relations Officer post under the Information, Public Relations, Printing and Stationery Department, Assam. As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 04 vacancies. The selected candidate will get a monthly salary up to Rs. 110000.

Candidates will be selected through a written Test and a personal interview. Candidates applying for this job post have to pay Rs. 250 as an application fee and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category have to pay Rs. 150 as an application fee. Candidates applying for this job post should have a graduate in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable. A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an Institute recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or at least five years of experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/ News/ Public Relations Organization/ Government Public Relations Department. Candidates should have a good command of English.
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes/ Voter ID/ Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post must have crossed the age of 21 years and the maximum age limit for this job post is 38 years. The upper age limit is relaxable as –
(i) By 5 years lor SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates i.e, upto 43 year.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the above-mentioned documents.
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will get a monthly salary between Rs. 30000-110000 with grade pay of Rs. 13900.
