Post Name and Vacancies for APSC Recruitment 2024:

APSC is hiring eligible candidates for the post of Tourism Development Officer (Grade-Il) under the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Assam. There are a total of 12 vacancies available for the stated position, as per the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2024.

Pay Scale for APSC Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2024, the pay scale is given below:

• The selected candidates will get a monthly salary in the range of Rs.22000 to Rs.97000 with Grade Pay Rs.9400.

Required Qualification for APSC Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with official notification of APSC Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications are indicated below:

• The candidate should be a Graduate from a University in any stream recognized by the Government.
• The candidate should have knowledge of computer of at least 6 (six) months duration.
• The candidate should be Graduate in Hospitality, Hotel, Travel and Tourism Management or Administration from a recognized University with knowledge of Computer of at least 6 (six) months duration.

Weightage-

• The candidate should have Knowledge of any Foreign Language other than English or language spoken in lndian Subcontinent.
• The candidate should have Working Experience in travel and Tourism or Hotel management administration section.

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of APSC Recruitment Recruitment 2024, the age limits are listed below:

• The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024.
• The upper age realxable 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and For Ex-Servicemen.

Application Fee for APSC Recruitment 2024:

In order to apply for APSC Recruitment 2024, the candidate should have to deposit an application fee of Rs.297.20. The Application Fee is as per Govt. Notification No. FEG.32/2016/8-A dated Dispur the 28th October, 2016 communicated vide letter No.ABP.60l20l4l1l dated 2nd February 2018. Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fees be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Selection Process for APSC Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the official notification of APSC Recruitment 2024, the mode of selection will be based on an Personal Viva-Voce Interview. The hardcopy of the online application and the Original Documents/Certificates along with Self-attested copies and other items specified in the lntimation Letter./Admit Card for interview are to be produced at the time of interview, failing which the candidate would not be allowed to appear in the interview.
