• The applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Indian or foreign University recognized by the Government. OR 
• The candidates must have passed Parts A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possess a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) only. 
• The applicants should have degrees obtained through Distance mode of education will not be eligible. 
• Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council,

Application Fee for Assam Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of Assam Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the eligible candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 47.20. The Application Fee is as per Govt. Notification No. FEG.32/2016/8-A dated Dispur the 28th October, 2016 communicated vide letter No.ABP.60l20l4l1l dated 2nd February 2018. Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fees be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Mode of Selection for Assam Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023:
