Intel is hiring an experienced Wireless Access SW – Platform Application Engineer at their Bangalore location. The candidate will support Intel provided software driver and higher level software and firmware.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be Able to:

• Engages as a technical expert or trusted technical advisor to drive Intel value and differentiation in or across disciplines such as Enterprise, Cloud, Client, HPC, AI, Gaming, Graphics, Analytics, and/or Edge.
• Utilizes deep domain and market segment expertise to research, develop, and prototype software that leverages and drives adoption of Intel product capabilities.
• Evangelizes software tools and technologies to the ecosystem to enable and support Intel products.
• Responsible for leading application pre-enabling, product development, and/or product hardening to launch future products and provide customer support. May deliver collateral and training, including competitive/differentiated benchmarks, as well as may identify and drive key workloads into product requirements and landing zones for future product design, simulation, projection methods, and tools.
• Drives product improvements that minimize the need for explicit enabling and maximizes scale adoption.

Eligibility:

• BE./B.Tech. /M.E. / M.Tech. / M.C.A./ MS in ( Computer Science, Networking,
• Electrical and Communication or other related fields).
• Experience: 2 to 10 Years
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong development and problem-solving skills
• Datacom protocols (Ethernet, IPV4, IPV6, TCP/UDP, Application layer protocols), L2 Switching, Routing
• Programming with C/C++ and Linux
• DPDK, Virtualization
• Data-plane packet processing on Network Processor, Multicore SoCs Or Intel Multicore platforms
• Knowledge of the Microprocessor architecture and assembly language
• Experience with cellular access technology, OS kernel, VM, container and device drivers.
• Experience in developing 5GNR L1 testcases and issue analysis with knowledge of 5G specifications and functionalities.
• Experience in system troubleshooting, testing, benchmarking, analyzing, and optimizing.
• Good understanding of the Telecom Networks (3G, LTE,5G) , O-RAN, 5G-NR L1, Intel FlexRAN will be a big plus
