Jubilant is hiring for an experienced Assistant Manager-Environment at their Gajraula location. This a role to provide solution to the Environment activities in a cost effective manner using efficient utilization of existing resources and by development of new solutions & techniques to ensure statutory compliances and business sustainability.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Oversee daily activities to maintain environmental management system (EMS).
• Ensure that industrial operations are in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.
• Educate industrial workers on environmental programs and policies.
• Respond to inquiries and concerns related to EMS.
• Perform regular environmental audits to monitor emissions, contaminations and damages.
• Generate environmental reports and maintain as per state regulations.
• Work with team to develop effective environmental strategies to reduce contaminations.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing environmental strategies.
• Investigate environmental incidents and develop action plans.
• Oversee pollution control programs and develop waste treatment and recycling procedures.
• Follow and enforce environmental policies and procedures.
• Develop budget and timelines for environmental operations and develop cost reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality.
• Stay updated with environmental trends and legislations.
• Monthly BPR Preparation, Monthly PPR Preparation and presentation, Monthly legal reports
• Hazardous waste authorization compliance
• Environmental Monitoring & Reporting with 3rd Party
• Environment Clearance(EC) compliance
• Annual Form II (Biomedical Waste Return)
• Form V (Environment Statement)
• Annual Fly Ash Annual Return
• Annual Return Form IV
• E-waste return (FORM -3)
• Annual data collection for CWC Declaration
• Unit/Business/Function Review Meetings
• Audit preparation (Sustainability, IMS, RC, Energy Audit) – Data compilation and presentation
• Application preparation for Amendment in licenses (CTE, CTO and Hazardous Waste Authorization)
• Data compilation and Preparation of CTE/CTO application under product mix and Biomedical Waste authorization renewal application
• Compliance submission for CTE, CTO and Hazardous Waste Authorization)
• CGWA renewal application data collection and compilation, CGWA and UPGWD compliances
• Regulatory Audits and Inspections
• Customer Audits and Inspections
• Create Job Order for scheduled work and new work as and when required
• Coordination with vendors and dept. for environment monitoring
• Self-assessment/Gap Assessment as per applicable

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Environment Management System in chemical industries.EP Rules & other legal Government Body compliances.
• Environment laws and its compliances as per chemical and pharma sector.
• Environment Department Capex & Projects execution.
• Good analytical and trouble shooting skills.

Eligibility:

• B.E./B.Tech- Chemical /Environment)
• 5- 8 Years of experience in Environment on large chemical / API unit.
