Whirlpool is hiring an experienced Deputy Manager, Cost Research at their Gurugram location. The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier’s products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization’s quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

• Responsible  to support cost modeling critical inputs of Raw material, Forex, Labour rates etc at various supplier locations across NAR, LAR, ASIA etc
• Basic knowledge of MIS and communication
• Basic exposure to industry working in consulting / manufacturing sector

Qualifications:

• B.Tech (Any)
• 3-8  yrs  experience of handling research and MIS part while working in consulting/manufacturing sector
• Know-how of various indexes e.g. LME, SME
• Good analytical skills
• Engineering know how to identify various grades of raw materials
• Internet savvy to conduct research of other countries
• Presentation skills and trend analysis
• Communication skills are a must to deal with global partners.
• Should have good presentation skills
