Bank of Baroda is seeking interested candidates for filling up the position of Business Correspondent (BC) Supervisor on a contract basis. As given in the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, both retired bank personnel and young candidates are eligible to apply.

Tenure for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be appointed on a contract basis for a tenure of 36 months subject to annual review.

Qualification and Experience for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for Business Correspondent (BC) Supervisors position must have the following qualification and experience.

Retired Bank Employees

• Retired officers (including voluntarily retired) of any PSU bank up to the rank of Chief Manager.
• Retired clerks and the equivalent of Bank of Baroda having passed JAIIB with a good track record.
• All retired bank employee applicants should have rural banking experience of at least 3 years.

Young Candidates

The minimum qualification should be a graduate with Computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet, etc.), however, qualifications like M.Sc. (IT)/ BE (IT)/ MCA/MBA will be given preference.

Age Limit for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for retired bank employees for the continuation of BC supervisors will be 65 years, with at least three years of rural banking experience, whereas the age limit for young candidates will be 21 to 45 years, with the maximum age limit for the continuation of BC supervisors being 65 years.

Salary for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, BC Supervisor’s monthly salary shall include both fixed and variable components.

IIBF - BC Certificate for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, the IIBF – BC Certification is given below.

BC supervisors have three months from the date of joining to receive IIBF-BC certification. Upon successful completion of the course, Bank will once again repay the Registration Fee. If BC Certifications are not followed, the following penalties will be assessed:

• From the 4th month to the 6th month, Rs 1000 will be deducted from the fixed component.
• From the 7th to the 12th Month, Rs 2000 will be deducted from the fixed component.
• After 12 months, his /her contract will not be renewed.

Roles and Responsibilities of BC Supervisor for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, the roles and Responsibilities of BC Supervisor are given below.

• Monitor BCs agents assigned
• Ensure that banking services are available to the identified villages/ SSAs (Sub Service Areas)/ Non-SSAs including communities in urban/metro areas
• Educate BCs about their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure redressal of grievances of customers/BCs and submit feedback to link branch with copy to Regional Office.
• Conduct meetings in the villages/SSAs(Sub Service Areas)/Non-SSAs as well as communities in their operational area to encourage villagers/customers for availing of banking services of our bank and submit the report to Regional Manager.
• Visit to allocated villages/ SSAs (Sub Service Areas)/ Non-SSAs as well as communities in their operational area and BC points in the district at least once in a month and submit the report to Dy. Regional Manager.
• Monitor & Control the activities of the BCs in coordination with the link branch. BC supervisors must ensure that BCs remain active.
• Ensure that the BCs are operational during working hours as per extant guidelines of the bank.
• Ensure that the BCs are available on a daily basis and transactions in the BC points are taking place as per prescribed norms/guidelines.
• Ensure that BCs are not doing any type of offline transactions at BC points.
• Ensure that BCs are engaged in cross-selling our bank’s and third-party products.
• Ensure that BCs are engaged in the recovery of our bank’s dues.
• Conduct financial literacy sessions with villagers/communities during his visit to the villages/BC points.
• Ensure that BCs have displayed the Dos & Don’ts board at BC points.
• Ensure that BCs are issuing only system-generated slips to customers.
• Ensure that BCs are not using any stationary of the bank.

Selection Procedure for Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2023, a committee led by the Regional Head will conduct interviews to make the selection.
