According to the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the posts of Project Engineer I and Sr. Assistant Engineer. There are a total of 06 vacancies for the given post.

Age Limit for BEL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is given below-

For Project Engineer– The upper age limit is 32 years.

For Sr. Assistant Engineer– The upper age limit is 50 years.

Age relaxation will be given as below-

The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Salary for BEL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 120000.

For Project Engineer I-

• 1st year- Rs. 40000.
• 2nd year- Rs. 45000.
• 3rd year- Rs. 50000.
• Rs. 12,000 per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, foot ware charges etc.

For Sr. Assistant Engineer- 

• The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary between Rs. 30000 to Rs. 120000.

Tenure for BEL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, the tenure is given below-

For Project Engineer I- The candidates will be engaged for a period of 3 years which may be extended up to
a maximum of One year (including initial period) based on requirement and individual performance.

For Sr. Assistant Engineer- The candidates will be engaged for a period of 15 years or date of superannuation (60 years) whichever is earlier.

Qualification for BEL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for BEL Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Project Engineer I- Full time BE/B. Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines.

Electronics – Electronics/Electronic & Communication/Electronics and Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/Communication/Electrical and Electronics Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE/ B. Tech.

Experience– Candidates should have minimum Two Years relevant industry experience.

For Sr. Assistant Engineer-  Indian Army personnel retired/serving officers retiring shortly with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics and Communication /Electronics and Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/ Electronics and Telecommunication/Communication/ Telecommunication/Electrical in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years and above post qualification (Professional) experience.

Experience-

• Minimum 15 Years of service in Indian Army.
• At least 2 years Hands on experience on WLR or in the field of Radars operation/ Maintenance.
• Minimum Knowledge on Radar maintenance and Repair aspects.

Selection Procedure for BEL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. The details regarding the interview will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates through email.

Candidates applying for the post of Project Engineer have to pay Rs. 400 as application fee. Candidates belonging to PwBD, SC and ST categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
