BEL Recruitment 2023: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Project Engineer-I on a contract basis. As per the BEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years which can be extended for 01 more year based on requirements and individual performance. Tech (4-year course) from a reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines –Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ E&T/ Telecommunication OR Mechanical. Candidates for General, OBC, and EWS must have a cumulative GPA of 55% across all semesters to be considered, and candidates for SC, ST, and candidates with disabilities must pass in Pass Class. It should be required to include the formula for converting CGPA to % in accordance with university standards.

Electronics
Candidates should have Work experience in Radars and Communication Systems, High voltage transmitters, Signal Processing will be an added advantage. Hands-on experience in using test instruments like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Signal generators, RF power meters, etc. Hands-on experience in Antenna testing will be preferred. Experience in preparation of project documents, updating stores database, inspection of electrical and electronic components/spares, coordinating with customers for clearances, etc. Work experience in on-site project execution, installation and commissioning of equipment, on-site Product Support activities, etc. Candidates should have managed work teams and should have been involved in work planning, scheduling and execution.
Mechanical
Candidates should have Hands-on experience in mechanical designing, AutoCAD and Solid Works software. Design and realization of mechanical structures. Working knowledge in the assembly of mechanical systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. Experience in Quality Assurance areas such as preparing project documents, generating production documents, updating stores database, inspecting mechanical components/spares, coordinating with customers for clearances, etc. will be an added advantage. Experience in software-based drafting is required for documentation. Experience in the preparation of cost estimates, tendering, contract management, customer liaisoning, etc., will be an added advantage.
As per the BEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post should be below the age of 32 years. The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC (NCL) candidates by 3 years and for ST candidates by 5 years. Candidates who fall under the PwBD category and have a minimum of 40% disability or higher will also receive an additional 10 years of age relaxation, which already applies to the aforementioned groups. SC applicants will be given the same consideration as UR Criteria.
