The required qualifications and experience to apply for BOI Recruitment 2024 are given below-

For Credit Officer (GBO)-

• The candidate should have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks along with “MBA/PGDBM/PGDM/PGBM/ PGDBA with specialization in Finance / Banking and Finance from the institute of repute (two/three-year programme)” / Post-graduation degree in Commerce/ Science /Economics. OR
• The candidate should have a CA / ICWA / CS.
• The candidate should have a certification in computer course for a minimum of three months OR Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards is a must.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a Minimum of two years of experience as an Officer in any Public Sector Bank or in any Private sector bank having a Business mix of Rs. 1 Lakh crores as on 31.03.2023.

For Economist-

• The candidate should have a Post-Graduation degree in Economics / Econometrics (from a University/Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies).
• Candidates with specialisation in Financial Economics / Behavioural Economics will be preferred.
• The candidates from premier Institutes / Universities such as Delhi School of Economics, Madras School of Economics, JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia University, IGIDR etc., OR from institutes of national importance as published by MHRD, Govt. of India will be preferred.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years in Rating Agencies / Banks/ PDs. Work experience should preferably be in Analysis and forecasting of economic indicators, writing research reports on topics related to banking and Economics, Application of econometric models in Banking, evaluation of issues related to monetary and fiscal policy, and Analyzing market trends.

For Technical Analyst-

• The candidate should have a Graduation (from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies) and CMT.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a Preferable but not mandatory.
• Candidates having experience working in Corporate Treasury (Front office) of financial institutional/reputed corporations shall be given preference.

Selection Process for BOI Recruitment 2024:

The online test and/or personal interview will be used to select the candidates for BOI Recruitment 2024. Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in online examination (marks obtained in General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry and Professional Knowledge paper) will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories.
