Qualification and Experience for Border Security Force Recruitment 2023:

For Senior Flight Gunner (Inspector)-

• The candidate must possess an of total 1000 flying hours on Multi multi-engine helicopters and a minimum of 250 hours on the type of Helicopter (or variants for deputation or re-employment) operated by the Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants.
• Medically fit for flying as per Indian Air Force.
• Minimum flying category ‘B’ on any type of Multi-Engine Helicopter (or variants for deputation or re-employment).

For Senior Aircraft Mechanic (Inspector)-

• The candidate should have 03 years Diploma in the relevant trade issued by the Directorate General, Civil Aviation. OR
• Group `X’ Diploma in the relevant trade issued by the Indian Air Force.

For Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)-

• The candidate should have 03 years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation. OR
• Group `X’ Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
• Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of diploma course (to be prescribed from time to time).

The appointment of  Border Security Force Recruitment 2023 will be made on a deputation basis for a period of 03 years.

• Officials under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Sector Undertaking holding analogous posts on a regular basis or in the level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35400-112400/-) with five years of regular service in the grade.

For Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)-

• Personnel under Central Government/ State Government/ Public Sector Undertakings holding analogous posts on a regular basis or in Level-4 in the pay matrix Rs. 25500-81100/- with five years of regular service.

For Senior Flight Gunner (Inspector)-
Officials under the Central Government or the State Government-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis. OR
• With five years of regular service the in the level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400/-).

Based on the official notification of Border Security Force Recruitment 2023, interested and appropriate candidates should obtain the prescribed format from the official notification and submit the same duly filled application form along with the required documents to the Deputy Inspector General (Estt), HQ DG BSF, Block No.10, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 with super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PBORs ON DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ ABSORPTION/RE-EMPLOYMENT BASIS IN BSF AIR WING” on or before the deadline. The other mode of application will not be considered.

The closing date to submit the application form is 30 days from the date of publication in Employment News.
