Monthly Salary under BSF Recruitment 2023:

According to the BSF Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued for BSF Assistant Commandant (Official Language), Post-Selection Monthly Salary accruing to the Assistant Commandant (Official Language) shall be as follows:

Pay Scale Level 10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56100-177500) by Deputation/Promotion (Composite Method) Basis for the Assistant Commandant (Official Language) under General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (Combatised).

Maximum Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2023:

The Maximum Age Limit for the Eligible Candidate as on the Closing Date of the BSF Recruitment 2023 Official Notification should be read as follows:

Age Limit: Not exceeding 52 Years.

Eligibility Criteria for BSF Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility Criteria comprising Educational Qualifications and Experience for the Assistant Commandant (Official Language) vide the BSF Recruitment 2023 Official Notification explained hereunder:

A) The Officers under the Central Government or State Government

I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre of Department in the Pay Level 08 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.47600-151100)

ii) With 02-Years’ Regular Service rendered Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Grade in the Parent Cadre or Department; With the following Educational Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications with Experience:

i) Master’s Degree from any Accredited University in Hindi with English as a Compulsory or an Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or

Master’s Degree from any Accredited University in English with Hindi as a Compulsory or an Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level: Or

Master’s Degree from any Accredited University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with English Medium and Hindi as a Compulsory Subject or Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or

Master’s Degree from any Duly Recognized University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with English Medium and Hindi as a Compulsory Subject or Elective Subject or as a Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or

Master’s Degree from any Duly Recognized University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as Compulsory or Elective Subjects or either of the Two as a Medium of Examination and the other as a Compulsory or Elective Subject at the Degree Level; And

Post-Qualification Experience:

i) 03 Years’ Experience of using/applying Technology (Terminological Work) in Hindi and Translation Work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of Technical or Scientific Literature under the Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or Accredited/Recognized Research or Educational Institutions; Or

03 Years’ Experience Teaching in Hindi and English Or Research in Hindi or English under the Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities Or Accredited/Recognized Research or Educational Institutions;

Desirable: Should have studied one of the Languages other than Hindi at the Matriculation Level included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Selection Criteria under BSF Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Criteria for Appointment of a Suitable Officer into the Assistant Commandant (Official Language) in the Border Security Force (Personnel Directorate-Staff Section) shall be carried through By Deputation/Promotion [Composite Methodology].

Based on the BSF Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Cadre Controlling Authority should forward the Names of the Eligible Officers who may be spared immediately in the event of Selection with Mandatory Enclosures as per the Prescribed Proformae should be forwarded within 30 Days from the Date of Publication of the BSF Recruitment 2023 Official Notification in the Employment News.
