CBI Recruitment 2022: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has invited applications from eligible and willing officers under the Government and other organizations for filling up the Post of each of Lecturer (Law) and Lecturer (Criminology) on deputation (including short term contract) basis at CBI Academy, Ghaziabad. As per Recruitment Rules of the post of Lecturer (Law & Criminology), private persons are not eligible for the post. The details of the Posts are available on the CBI website www.cbi.gov.in.

Name of Post, Pay Scale for CBI Recruitment 2022:

Age-Limit for CBI Recruitment 2022: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Eligibility Conditions for CBI Recruitment 2022:

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations:

(a) (1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;

or

(ii) with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-29,300-34800 with Grade Pay of 4800 (Pre-revised) (Level-8 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

or

(iii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-2; 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4600 (Pre-revised) (Level-7 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

or

(iv) with eight years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-2; 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4200 (Pre-revised) (Level-6 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Essential Conditions for CBI Recruitment 2022:

(i) Master’s Degree in law/criminology from recognized University.

(ii) One year teaching experience in a recognized College or University or Training Institute of the Central Government or State Government.

Term of Deputation for CBI Recruitment 2022:

Period of deputation (ISTC) including period of deputation (ISTC) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years.
