CBSE Class 10th Board Exam Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is meticulously managing the conduct of the Class 10 Board Exams for the academic year 2024. Starting from March 3, 2024, the Class 10 examination concluded on March 13, 2024, signifying the end of a rigorous evaluation period for numerous students nationwide. Meanwhile, the Class 12 exams are scheduled to finish on April 2, 2024.
During this academic year, around 16 lakh students took part in the Class 10 board examination. Considering an estimated average of 5 answer sheets per student, the total number of answer sheets to be evaluated surpassed 80 lakh, which is currently underway.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results for Class 10 on its official website (cbseresults.nic.in). To check the result, students must provide their roll number and date of birth. The CBSE Class 10 results 2024 can also be accessed via SMS, IVRS, and Digi locker, in addition to the official CBSE website. The CBSE conducted the CBSE Class 10 board exams from February 15, 2024, till March 21, 2024.

This comprehensive process typically spans around 2 to 3 weeks, reflecting the board’s commitment to accuracy and transparency in result declaration.
It’s noteworthy that in recent years, the CBSE has adopted the practice of announcing both the Class 10 and Class 12 results on the same day, streamlining the result announcement process. Moreover, the board has taken proactive measures to expedite the release process, ensuring the timely availability of results to students and stakeholders.
In the preceding academic year, the CBSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at an impressive 93.12%, surpassing the pre-Covid pass percentage of 91.10% in 2019. Once declared, the CBSE 10th results and marksheets were accessible on the DigiLocker website and mobile app, offering students a convenient platform to access their academic records.
Last year witnessed a significant enrollment of 2,184,117 students for the Class 10 exams, with 2,165,805 students appearing for the exams. Out of the total, 2,016,779 students successfully passed and were promoted to the next class, indicating a commendable performance by the student cohort. Additionally, a noteworthy number of 44,297 students achieved exceptional scores of 95% and above in the CBSE 10th board examinations, highlighting the academic prowess and dedication of students nationwide.
