CBSE Provides Additional Facilities to Students After Class 10th Supplementary Result 2024 Declaration

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened some additional facilities to the students after the Additional Facilities to Students After Class 10th Supplementary Result release, they are:

(1) Verification of Marks
(II) Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book
(III) Re-evaluation of Answer(s)

Below is the detailed information for applying for any of the above processes, Verification of Marks, obtaining a Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book, and Re-evaluation of the answers for the candidates who this year attended the supplementary exam for class 10th:

  • Requests for any of the three processes will be accepted online as per a specific schedule along with some processing charge. No applications will be accepted offline after the end of the scheduled date and time.
  • The processing charges will be accepted online only through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking and will not be accepted through Postal Order/DD/Money Order/Cheque/Cash etc.
  • Applications submitted incomplete and through offline mode will not be accepted and will be rejected without any correspondence with the candidate.
  • Each candidate may only submit one application for each level of the online procedure.
  • The board has clarified that it will not be responsible for any of the consequences after the revision of mark (S) or delay in the processing time.
  • Even if one mark is decreasing after re-evaluation that will also be affected.
  • If a candidate’s marks change, either positively or negatively, they will be asked to update the Marksheet/Certificate that they now hold. They will then receive a fresh Marksheet combined with a Certificate.
  • Processing charges will be non-refundable.

(I) VERIFICATION OF MARKS

(a) The schedule for the verification of marks is mentioned in Annexure-I and the processing charge per subject is Rs. 500.

(b) The outcomes of the verified marks will be uploaded on the same login account where the candidate will apply for verification in the below-listed manner:

  • Candidates will get to know the outcomes of the verified marks on their login account at CBSE’s official website. Candidates will not be informed about this personally.
  • In case the marks will either be declared or increased, the first communication of marks has been changed will be hosted.
  • After the re-calculation of marks, the increased or decreased marks will also be hosted to the candidate.
  • Candidates are advised to visit the official website frequently to view the verification request status.

(c) Only the candidates who will apply to the process of verification of marks will be eligible to apply for the Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book

(II) APPLICATION FOR OBTAINING A PHOTOCOPY OF THE EVALUATED ANSWER BOOK

(a) Only the candidates who will apply to the process of verification of marks as per the format prescribed above will be considered eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book.

(b) The process charges for Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book will be Rs. 500 per subject of class 10th. The schedule for the same is given in Annexure I.

(c) Applications that will be submitted on behalf of the candidate or incomplete one will be rejected by the authority side and the fees that were deposited will be lost without any notification.

(d) Candidates who have applied will be provided with a scanned copy of the Answer Book at the login account after blocking all the personal details of the examiner/evaluator/ or any other officials related to the examination processes.

(e) The candidate will need to apply online for a reevaluation of marks in accordance with the schedule if they wish to contest the marks assigned to any question.

(III) RE-EVALUATION OF EVALUATED ANSWER BOOK

(a) Only the candidates who have applied for the Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book will be eligible to apply for this process.

(b) Request for the re-evaluation/challenges will be accepted only for the theory portion @ Rs. 100 per question.

(c) The marking scheme for the relevant subject, which is accessible on the website together with the question paper, must be consulted by the applicant. Candidates can then apply for revaluation by answering the necessary question(s) and providing justification.

(d) The status of the re-evaluation will be uploaded on the official website of the board.

(e) Decrease even in marks of the candidates as compared to earlier will be affected.

(f) The Result after re-evaluation will be considered final and no appeal against re-viewing sheets again will be accepted.
