CBSE Released Notification for Teacher Capacity Building Program for Tourism Education in Grades XI–XII
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level educational board in India that oversees and manages both public and private schools. The Board, established by a legislative resolution in 1929, was an experiment in interstate integration and cooperation in secondary education. CBSE is associated with around 27,000 schools in India and 240 institutions in 28 other countries. All CBSE-accredited schools adhere to the NCERT curriculum, particularly in Classes 9th to 12th.
In order to adopt its current name, the Central Board of Secondary Education, the Board’s constitution was modified in 1952. To provide its services to students and other educational institutions across the nation, the Board was reorganized on 1st July 1962.
Program for Capacity Building (CBP) for Teachers Teaching “Tourism” in Grades XI-XII:
The Training of Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for Teachers Teaching “Tourism” in Classes XI-XII was recently declared by the CBSE.
Teachers instructing “Tourism” in Classes XI and XII will participate in Capacity Building Programs organized by CBSE. The CBP will take place offline.
