CBSE Spread Awareness Campaign through an E-Pledge titled “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs”

The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) serves as the central authority on all issues pertaining to drug law enforcement. In cooperation with other Ministries, Departments, and organizations, the NCB plays a critical role in raising public awareness of the negative consequences of drugs and fostering a shared commitment to making India drug-free.

Substance abuse is a serious issue that has taken hold of modern society, robbing young people of their most potential and productive years. To reduce the hazards connected to substance use and advance a culture of general development and well-being, it is imperative to create a supportive environment in families, communities, and schools.

CBSE is starting an awareness campaign in partnership with the NCB to encourage everyone, especially the youth, to sign an e-pledge opposing the drug problem. An admirable first step in securing a drug-free and healthy environment for our children and our nation is the “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs” E-pledge campaign.
