CDB Recruitment 2022: Coconut Development Board (CDB) is under the department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. As per CDB Recruitment Notification 2022, CDB is hiring eligible and interested candidates for filling up the 77 vacancies for the posts of Deputy Director (Development/Marketing), Assistant Director (Development/Marketing/Foreign Trade), Statistical Officer, Development Officer, Market Promotion Officer, Mass Media Officer, Statistical Investigator, Sub Editor, Chemist, Stenographer Grade II, Auditor, Programmer, Food Technologist, Microbiologist, Content Writer, Library and Information Assistant, Technical Assistant, Field Officer, Junior Stenographer, Hindi Typist, Lower Division Clerk and Lab Assistant under direct recruitment basis. The monthly remuneration for CDB Recruitment 2022 is between Rs. 19900 to Rs. 208700.
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can submit their application online through the official website of CDB. Candidates have to pay Rs. 300 as the application fee and ST/SC/PwD/Ex-servicemen and women are exempted from payment of fee for CDB Recruitment 2022. The Candidates working in Central/State Governments, Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc shall produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ and a Vigilance Clearance Certificate from their present employer at the time of the written test/interview. Candidates applying for CDB Recruitment 2022 is liable to be transferred to anywhere in India as per the requirements of the Board. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interviews as per CDB Recruitment Notification 2022.
The duly filled-in application form is to be submitted online within 30 days from the date of publication in the Employment News i.e. 18th November 2022. The board reserves the right to reject incomplete/false applications at any stage of the CDB Recruitment process.

Age Limit for CDB Recruitment 2022:
As per CDB Recruitment Notification, the upper age limit is 40 years for Deputy Director (Development/Marketing).
For Assistant Director (Development/Marketing/Foreign Trade)- The upper age limit is 35 years.
For Statistical Officer, Development Officer, Market Promotion Officer, Mass Media Officer, Statistical Investigator, Sub Editor, Chemist, Auditor, Programmer, Food Technologist, Microbiologist, Content Writer, Library and Information Assistant and Technical Assistant- The upper age limit is 34 years.
For Stenographers Grade II- The upper age limit is 30 years
For Field Officer, Junior Stenographer, Hindi Typist, Lower Division Clerk and Lab Assistant- The upper age limit is 27 years.
The upper age limit is also relaxable for SC/ST candidates and OBC candidates up to 5 years and 3 years respectively in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Further, age relaxation of 10 years shall be admissible to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Qualification for CDB Recruitment 2022:
For Deputy Director (Development)- Master degree in Horticulture or Agriculture or Plant Sciences from a recognized University or institute.
Five years experience in Level-10 (Rs. 56100–Rs.177500) in the pay matrix under the Central Government or equivalent with reference to agriculture development of plantation tree crops or horticulture crops; or seven years experience in Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix under the Central Government or equivalent with reference to agriculture development of plantation tree crops or horticulture crop.
For Deputy Director (Marketing)- Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent with Marketing Specialization or Master Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture with Postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent from a recognized University or institute.
Seven years experience in agricultural marketing in any recognized institute.
For Assistant Director (Development)- Master degree in Horticulture or Agriculture or Plant Science from a recognized University or institute.
Three years experience in Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix under the Central Government or equivalent, preferably in plantation tree crops or horticulture crops; or five years experience in Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix under the Central Government or equivalent, preferably in plantation tree crops or horticulture crops.
For Assistant Director (Marketing)- Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent with specialization in Marketing or Master degree in Agriculture or Horticulture with Postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent from a recognized University or institute and five years experience in agricultural marketing in a recognized institute.
