Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023: Central Bank of India, a leading public sector bank in India, has announced the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2023-24. The bank is looking to fill approximately 5000 Vacancies through this recruitment process. As per the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the opening date for online registration is March 20th, 2023, and the closing date is April 3rd, 2023. Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, is inviting applications from candidates for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and as per the apprenticeship policy of the bank. The selected candidates will be engaged in branches/offices in the respective districts at the discretion of the bank.

The second stage of the selection process is the Local Language Proof, where the candidate should be proficient in the local language. The candidate will be required to produce a certificate of VIII/X/XII or Graduate level having studied the local language as one of his/her subjects.

The Bank reserves the right to conduct any other test or follow any other selection criteria at its discretion.

Stipends for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the apprentices engaged by the Central Bank of India will be paid a stipend based on the location of their branch. The stipend and diem allowance for the apprentices is as follows:

  • Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: Rs. 10,000 stipends and Rs. 225 diem allowance
  • Urban Branches: Rs. 12,000 stipends and Rs. 300 diem allowance
  • Metro Branches: Rs. 15,000 stipends and Rs. 350 diem allowance

The apprentices will be entitled to receive diem allowance in case they are required to travel for official purposes as per the table given above. While traveling on duty, the apprentice shall be entitled to travel by Sleeper class by train, and the actual cost of fare incurred for the shortest route will be reimbursed. For travel by road, the actual cost incurred on public transport will be reimbursed.

It should be noted that the apprentices will not be eligible for any other allowances or benefits, apart from the stipend and diem allowance mentioned above.
