Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023: Central Bank of India, Regional Office Sagar, is inviting applications for the recruitment/engagement of BC Supervisor on a contract basis for the financial year 2023-24. There are two categories of eligibility criteria. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Retired bank employees can apply if they have at least 3 years of rural banking experience, are up to 64 years of age, and have held the rank of Senior Manager or equivalent. Young candidates should have a minimum qualification of graduation and computer knowledge, with preference given to those with qualifications like M. Sc. (IT)/BE (IT)/MCA/MBA. They should be between 21 and 45 years of age at the time of appointment, and the maximum age for continuation of BC supervisors is 60 years.

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates should be selected from the same district where they will be assigned to function. If suitable candidates are not available in the same district, the candidates may be selected from the adjoining districts. Candidates must be proficient in the local language and dialect, and they should be willing and in a position to visit villages in the district for supervision and other activities as and when assigned on periodic intervals. Due diligence, including KYC & CIBIL reports, should be followed at the time of appointment, and police verification must be arranged and conducted in respect of each selected applicant before assignment of duty. Name of the Post and Role and Responsibility for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, The post name is  “BC Supervisor” and the role involves supervising BC agents and ensuring the availability of banking services to identified villages and communities, both in rural and urban areas.

The BC Supervisor is responsible for fixing targets and monitoring progress, as well as educating BCs about their roles and responsibilities. They must ensure that BCs remain active and operational during working hours and that transactions are taking place as per guidelines. The BC Supervisor must also engage in financial literacy sessions with villagers and communities, organize camps for achieving targets, and coordinate with the branch and service provider for the appointment and substitution of BCs as needed. Additionally, the BC Supervisor must take feedback from customers and submit reports to the Regional Office.

Eligibility Criteria for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the BC Supervisor position are as follows:

a) For Retired Bank Employees:

  • Retired officers of any bank up to the rank of Senior Manager or equivalent can apply.
  • Retired clerks and equivalent of Central Bank of India who have passed JAIIB with a good track record can also apply.
  • All applicants should have at least 3 years of rural banking experience.
  • The maximum entry age is 64 years.
  • The maximum age for continuation of BC supervisors is 65 years.

b) For Young Candidates:

  • The minimum qualification required is a graduate degree with computer knowledge, including MS Office, email, internet, etc. Candidates with higher qualifications like M. Sc. (IT), BE (IT), MCA, or MBA will be given preference.
  • The age range for applicants is 21-45 years at the time of appointment.
  • The maximum age for continuation of BC supervisors is 60 years.

Therefore, the eligibility criteria for the BC Supervisor position depend on the applicant’s age, qualifications, and work experience. Retired bank employees can apply up to the age of 64 years, while young candidates should be between 21 and 45 years of age at the time of appointment. All applicants should have rural banking experience of at least 3 years.

Selection Process and Tenure of Engagment for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection of BC Supervisor will be done through an interview process. The selected candidate will be offered a contract initially for a period of 12 months. The continuation of the contract will be subject to satisfactory annual performance review.

Salary for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the payment of monthly remuneration and other allowances for the BC Supervisor will be as follows:

  1. Remuneration: The monthly remuneration of the BC Supervisor will have a mixed structure of fixed and variable components. The fixed component will depend on the category of the BC Supervisor and will be as follows:
  • Category A: Rs. 15,000 per month
  • Category B: Rs. 12,000 per month

The variable component of the remuneration will be based on the score secured by each BC Agent under the BC Supervisor on various parameters as per Annexure II. The variable component of the commission will be decided as per the slab given in Annexure II.

  1. Conveyance Allowance: Each BC Supervisor will be paid a fixed conveyance allowance of Rs. 4,000 per month for Category A and Rs. 3,000 per month for Category B Supervisor.
  2. Mobile Expenses: Each BC Supervisor will be paid Mobile / Internet charges / expenses of Rs. 500 per month (Fixed).

Important Terms and Condition for Central Bank of India Recruiotment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the number of BCs mapped to the supervisors can be increased or decreased as per the bank’s requirements. The performance of the BC Supervisors will be reviewed on a monthly and annual basis, and the renewal of their contract will depend on their average performance analyzed through the monthly Scoring Matrix.

How to Apply for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, eligible candidates for the post of BC Supervisor can submit their applications in the given format (Annexure-3) before the last date of 31.03.2023. No applications will be accepted beyond this date, and incomplete applications will be rejected. Candidates need to address the application to the Regional Head, Central Bank of India, 7 Civil Lines, Sagar 470001 (M.P.) and super scribe the envelope with “Application for the post of BC Supervisor on contract basis for FY-2023-24.” There is no application fee prescribed for this recruitment process.
