Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023: Central Bank of India is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Counselor for FLCs (Financial Literacy Centers) on a contract basis. As per the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 04 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 years. The renewal may be possible at Bank’s sole discretion in terms of extant policies and rules. There are opening for Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha Districts.
As per the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post should be below the age of 65 years with good sound health. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary equal to their last pay and benefits less the first pension payment determined prior to commutation plus relief, etc. due thereupon, or a monthly compensation of Rs. 15000, whichever is less. As per the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 04 vacancies for the post of Counselor for FLCs (Financial Literacy Centers) in the following district mentioned below:
Candidate should have a Graduate/Post Graduate degree from a UGC-recognized University. Candidates being Officers with rural development backgrounds i.e. Agriculture Finance Officer / Rural Development Officer / Agriculture Officers converted to Mainstream of banking / Lead District Managers and Faculty leaders / Faculty members of Training Centers / Colleges with specialization in Rural Development etc. shall be preferred.
Candidate should have retired on VRS or on attaining superannuation with minimum 20 years of service of which at least 15 years in Officer Cadre. He should have worked as Branch Manager on any scale in a rural branch for at least 3 years OR as AFO (Agriculture Finance Officer) in a Rural Branch for a period of 3 years. He should have an unblemished record and possess a satisfactory service certificate from his previous employer. Candidates should be well conversant with the local language. Candidates should have worked on Scale II & above for FLCs. Candidates should be residents of the same State, preferably the same or nearby district.

Additionally, a lump sum payment of Rs. 500 per month is required for mobile, conveyance, etc. However, the requirement of “Last Pay & Allowance drawn by the Officer less the initial amount of pension fixed before commutation plus relief etc.” will only apply to pension-co-opted retired bank employees of Nationalised Banks; otherwise, the candidate will only be eligible for Rs. 15,000 per month along with a lump sum amount of Rs. 500/- towards Mobile, Conveyance, etc. Note that no further rewards or fees will accumulate or be due. Reimbursement of travel-related expenses (TA/DA) would be granted at the revised rate of Rs. 300 per day, with actual travel costs to be covered.
