According to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, the deputations shall have the option either to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each or To draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance (20% of Basic Pay).

Additional General Manager/ Joint General Manager/ Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock):

The candidates should have a B.E /B.Tech(ECE/EEE/Mech) graduate from a recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE /UGC. Post-graduation in the relevant discipline is desirable. Possession of project management certification and handling project-related work will be an added advantage.

• For AGM Post – Should be in SG grade in Group (A) with a minimum of 17 years of experience.
• For JGM post – Should be in SG grade in Group (A) with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
• For the DGM post – Should be in JAG grade in Group (A) with a minimum of 06 years or Group B with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Joint General Manager (Power System and Over-Head Equipment):

• The candidates should have a B.E /B. Tech (EEE) graduate from a Government recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC. Post-graduation in the relevant discipline is desirable.
• The incumbent be in SG grade in Group (A) with a minimum of 15 years of experience.

Deputy General Manager (Vertical and Horizontal Transportation System):

• The candidates should have a B.E /B. Tech (EEE) graduate from a Government recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC. Post-graduation in the relevant discipline is desirable.
• The incumbent be in SG grade in Group (A) with a minimum of 13 years of experience.

Additional General Manager/ Joint General Manager/ Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock):

The candidates should have experience in Project execution/ maintenance of Metro Rail Rolling stock and exposure in Planning, monitoring, commissioning and testing of trains in depot/site, tendering, project management, handling correspondences with external agencies, approval of Rolling Stock designs and its review, RS and depot equipment Production/schedule planning, witness factory testing etc.

Joint General Manager (Power System and Over-Head Equipment):

The candidates should have experience in the Design, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Power systems (33kV and above), 25 kV OHE (FOCS and ROCS), 110/66/25 kV Traction substation equipment and distribution system in Railways/Metros. Also, should have experience in managing Traction substation equipment, cable distribution system and SCADA works in Railways / Metros.

Deputy General Manager (Vertical and Horizontal Transportation System):

The candidates must have knowledge of project implementation, relevant industrial codes standards, safety and quality procedures, SCADA systems and Experience in Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of Vertical Transportation Systems in Metro Rail / Airport / Railway projects or any large infrastructure projects.

Tenure for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, the tenure of the appointment will be on a deputation/ contractual basis for an initial period of deputation will be for a period of 03 years, which may be extendable upto 05 years.
