Coal India Recruitment 2022: Coal India has announced the notification for Graduate Apprenticeship Training in different disciplines of engineering such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Mining and Technician Apprenticeship training in Mining Engineering/Mining and Mine Surveying. There are a total of 1532 vacancies. Candidates applying for Coal India recruitment will be engaged for a period of 1 year. Selected candidates will be paid a stipend at the minimum rate of Rs. 9000 per month for graduate apprentices and Rs. 8000 per month for technician apprentices. Selected candidates (apprentices) will be posted only in the Open Cast or underground ground mines of SECL
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply through the NATS portal. All the documents submitted by the candidates will be verified at the time of selection. The document verification will be done between 9th January 2023 to 30 January 2023. Candidates are requested to bring original documents along with self-attested copies.
The last date for submitting the application form for Coal India recruitment 2022 is 19th December 2022. Applications received after the due date and incomplete applications will be rejected.

As per the official notification, selected candidates will be paid a stipend at the minimum rate of Rs. 9000 per month for graduate apprentices and Rs. 8000 per month for technician apprentices.
Candidate should hold 04-year degree in a relevant branch of engineering for a Graduate Apprenticeship and 03-year diploma in mining engineering/ mine surveying for Technician Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification granted by an institution recognized by the Government.
Graduate engineers and Diploma Engineers (Duration of Diploma can be 3 years after class 10th or 2 years after 12th which is subject to the condition of getting lateral entry into 2nd year of such COURSES of the concerned students. One-year Diploma is not allowed), only through regular (Full time) mode of education are eligible for enrolment of apprenticeship training.
It is further clarified that as per communication received from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and in reference to the approved process handbook of AICTE there is a provision of lateral entry into the second year of diploma course for 10+2 pass candidates with certain conditions. The tenure of all Diploma engineering courses is of 3/4-year duration after class 10th.
Notes- Candidates should not have undergone apprenticeship training in any other institution earlier.
Candidate should not have completed employment/service at any establishment for one year or more.
Candidate should not be pursuing or completed postgraduate/ M.Tech. qualification.
Candidate should not have passed his engineering degree/diploma 03 years before the date of joining as apprentice.
The date of enrolment of candidates on the NATS portal in the Board of Apprentice Training, Western Region, will be the basis for shortlisting of the candidate. Earlier enrolled candidate will be placed higher. In case of tie-on enrolment in the same category, the date of graduation in engineering/diploma passing, the percentage of marks of Engineering / Diploma, and date of birth will be 1″, 2nd and 3rd tie-breakers in order for provisional selection. The provisional selection list will be prepared based on the above criteria and reservations.
Two seniority lists of provisionally selected candidates as per selection criteria will be prepared. 1st list (Level-1) will consist of candidates belonging to Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh States and 2nd list (Level -2) will be prepared of candidates belonging to rest other states. Candidates from 2nd list will get opportunities after exhausting the First list of candidates.
