Indigo is hiring an experienced Lead Business Analyst at their Gurgaon location. You will be specializing in the digital aspects of our Airline Crew Management System and Operations control. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying digital opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement and enhance our crew management system. This role requires a deep understanding of airline operations, crew scheduling, and digital technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including airline operations, crew members, and IT teams, to gather and document business requirements related to the crew management system / Operations Control

Digital Solutions Design:

• Work closely with the development team to design digital solutions that address business needs. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.

System Integration:

• Facilitate the integration of the crew management system with other digital systems within the airline, such as flight operations, HR, and payroll systems.

Data Analysis:

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to crew scheduling, availability, and performance. Use data-driven approaches to improve system efficiency.

User Experience (UX) Enhancement:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve the user interface and experience of the crew management system. Ensure that the system meets the needs of end-users, including crew members and operational staff.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about aviation regulations related to crew scheduling and management. Ensure that the crew management system complies with industry standards and legal requirements.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the crew management system. Work with QA teams to identify and address any issues.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Propose and implement enhancements to optimize crew scheduling processes.

Training and Support:

• Provide training to end-users on the functionalities of the crew management system. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the airline industry.
• Strong understanding of crew management systems, aviation operations, and digital technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the aviation industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
