CSL Recruitment 2023: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Company of the Government of India, invites Online Applications from Indian citizens for filling up the following posts of Project Officers on a contract basis. According to the CSL Recruitment 2023 official notification, employment will be made for six (06) vacancies for Cochin Shipyard Limited Mumbai Ship Repair Unit (CMSRU), Mumbai. The above-mentioned posts are temporary and for a maximum of three years, depending on project requirements and individual performance. The maximum age restriction for the positions is 30 years as of August 25, 2023, which means that applicants must have been born on or after August 26, 1993. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC, whereas the Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen candidates shall be as per Government of India guidelines. The age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 45 years. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a salary of up to Rs.40,000 with Rs.3,000 (Compensation for Extra Hours of Work) monthly.

The criteria for the final selection will be given marks, such as the objective type test’s 50 points, the personal interview’s 20 points, and the relevant work experience as judged by the selection committee during the interview and presentation’s 30 points. Applicants who fulfil the requirements may register once on the SAP Online portal and submit their application between August 2nd and August 25th, 2023. For Project Officer (Mechanical)
The candidates should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in a Ship Building Company, Ship Repair Company, Marine related Company, or Engineering Company.
For Project Officer (Electrical)
The applicant should consist a Degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks as well as two years post-qualification experience Government Company or Semi Government Company.
For Project Officer (Civil)
Candidates should possess a Degree in Civil Engineering with two years post experience in a Civil Construction Company, Shipyard or Engineering Company.
