Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has opened 145 vacant seats in CSL Recruitment 2023 for the post of Graduate and Technical (Diploma) Apprentices.

Age Limit for CSL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 18 years as on 31.10.2023.

Qualification for CSL Recruitment 2023:

The required qualifications for applying to CSL Recruitment 2023 are mentioned below-

For Graduate Apprentices-

• The candidate must have a degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in a relevant discipline.
• The candidate must have a Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.
• The candidates should possess a Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.

For Technical (Diploma) Apprentices-

• The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline.
• The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in a relevant discipline.
• The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
• The candidate should have a Diploma in Commercial Practice granted by an Institution
  recognized by the State Government or Central Government.

Tenure for CSL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be engaged for a training period of 01 year as per the Apprentice Act 1973.

Salary for CSL Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates for CSL Recruitment 2023 will get a monthly stipend up to Rs.12000.

• The chosen applicant for the post of Graduate Apprentice will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.12000.
• The chosen applicant for the post of Technical (Diploma) Apprentice will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.10200.

Selection Process for CSL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are from Kerala domicile will be considered. The process of shortlisting candidates for the selection procedure will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualifications as applicable to the respective disciplines. Before being selected, candidates should bring the original certificates for verification.
