Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023: Department of Personnel and Training is inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for the post of Accounts Officer. As given in the official notification of Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023, there is 01 vacancy open for the mentioned post. The candidate must have Graduate from a recognized University with 04 years of experience in Audit and Account matters in Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking or Post Graduate with 03 years of experience in Audit and Account matters in Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking. The maximum age limit for the candidates on deputation should not be more than 56 years and the candidates on contractual basis should not exceed the age of 62 years. The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.53100 to 167800 (Level-09).

In accordance with the official notification of Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023, the period of deputation in case of serving officers shall not exceed 04 years and in case of retired officers the appointment will be on contractual basis initially for a period of 02 years, which can be extended further from year to year basis upto a maximum period of 05 years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. As stated in the official notification of the Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is different for the candidates on deputation and contract basis.

  • The maximum age limit for the candidates on deputation should not be more than 56 years.
  • The candidates on a contractual basis shall not exceed the age of 62 years.

Qualification and Experience for Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of the Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have graduated from a recognized University with 04 years of experience in Audit and Account matters in Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking or Post Graduate with 03 years of experience in Audit and Account matters in Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking. The candidates should have passed the SAS or equivalent examination conducted by any of the organized Account Department of the Central Government or Successfully completed training in Cash and Accounts work in ISTM or equivalent and possess 03 years experience of in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.

Desirable Qualification-

  • The candidates should have a CA (Inter) ICWA (Inter) or MBA with 02 years of experience.
  • Preference will be given to the candidates with a B.Com/ M.Com/ Law/ Public Finance/ Cost accounts background.
  • The candidates must have knowledge of working accounting software such as Tally or PFMS and Microsoft Excel.

Tenure for Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of the Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2023, in the case of serving officers, the period of deputation shall not exceed 04 years, and in the case of retired officers, the appointment shall be on a contractual basis initially for a period of 02 years, which may be extended from year to year up to a maximum period of 05 years or until the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
