Age Limit for DERC Recruitment 2024:

According to the official DERC Recruitment 2024 notification, candidates hired on a Deputation basis should not be older than 56 years, Direct applicants should not be older than 50 years, and Contract applicants should not be older than 62 years.

Qualification for DERC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for the DERC Recruitment 2024 must have the following qualifications

Joint Director (Tariff Engineering)

• Candidate should have a Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Applicant must have Experience in the development of tariffs in Power Sector utilities.
• Aspirants must have Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis
  OR
• With 2 years of regular service in the pay scale of 6th CPC, PB3 with Grade Pay Rs.7600 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 12
  OR
• With 5 years of regular service in the pay scale of 6th CPC, PB3 with Grade Pay Rs.6600 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 11.

Desirable

• Candidate must have a Post graduate qualifications in Finance / Financial Management.
• Experience as Power Engineer including management responsibilities in middle level position.
  Sound knowledge of commercial matters pertaining to Power Sector.
• Familiarity with Indian Electricity Laws.

Joint Director (Tariff Finance)

• Candidate should have a Post Graduate in Finance / Accountancy / Commerce OR CA/ ICWA from a recognised University / Institution.
• Experience in Financial Analysis of Investment decisions in the Power Sector.
• Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis
  OR
• With 2 years of regular service in the pay scale of 6th CPC, PB3 with Grade Pay Rs.7600 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 12
  OR
• With 5 years of regular service in the pay scale of 6th CPC, PB3 with Grade Pay Rs.6600 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 11.

Desirable

• Candidate should have a Graduation degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) OR equivalent from a recognised University / Institution.
• Knowledge and experience in the Power Sector.
• Sound knowledge of Financial Procedures in Commercial Enterprises. Experience in financial analysis of investment decisions in Commercial Enterprises / Power Sector organizations, and examinations of Power Purchase Agreements.

Salary for DERC Recruitment 2024:

The official DERC Recruitment 2024 notification states that the selected candidate would be paid a monthly salary between Rs. 123100 and Rs. 215900.
