For Theater Art Teacher-

• The prospective candidate must have a Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognised State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution and 1 year Certificate Course in Theatre Art Dramatics from a recognised Institution.
• Candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in the field of Theatre Art/Dramatics.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable-

• Graduation in any field from a recognized university.
• Knowledge of Marathi.

For Music Trainer (Vocal)-

• Candidate should have a Bachelor of Music or Visharad Degree from Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya or Sangeet Parangat from Kala Academy or Sangeet Kushal from Kala Academy in the relevant subject or equivalent with o3 years of teaching experience.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Konkani.

For Lower Division Clerk-

• Candidate should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognised State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution.
• Candidate should be computer literate.
• Candidate should have Knowledge of Konkani.

For Junior Cultural Assistant-

• Candidate should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognised State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution.
• Candidate should have knowledge of computers.
• Candidate should have 02 years’ experience in the field of Art and Culture.
• Candidate should have Knowledge of Konkani.

The scale of Pay for Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of the Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted individuals will be paid a pay scale mentioned below:

For Theater Art Teacher-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.50268.

For Music Trainer (Vocal)-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.41464.

For Lower Division Clerk and Junior Cultural Assistant-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.28258.

Tenure for Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of the Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023, Applicants for the aforementioned roles will be employed for a duration ranging from 03 to 11 months (on a strictly contractual basis).

Selection Procedure for Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of the Directorate of Art and Culture Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a walk-in interview. Candidates for the post of Theatre Art Teacher and Music Trainer will have to undergo a performing skill test. No TA/DA would be provided for attending the interview. The candidates not fulfil eligibility criteria and do not report in time will not be considered for the interview/test.
