Age-Limit for Doordarshan Kendra Recruitment 2022:

The candidate will be eligible if his age falls between 21 – 40 years for the Post of News Reader (Urdu/Kashmiri)

For the Post of Editorial Assistant, the candidate will be eligible if his age falls between 25 – 50 years.

Essential Qualification for Doordarshan Kendra Recruitment 2022:

For News Reader (Urdu/Kashmiri)

Essential:

i) Degree from a recognized University.

ii) Proficiency in the language concerned,

iii) Camera-friendly face with a voice of a very good quality suited to Broadcasting.

iv) Correct pronunciation, accent, and modulation.

v) Knowledge of current regional/Indian and foreign affairs,

vi) Acquaintance with names of important personalities in the Region/India and abroad.

Preferable Journalism background.

Professional

i) Journalism background in the Field of academic or related areas.

ii) Professional background in the field of academic or related areas.

iii) Experience with Television/Radio Media.

Desirable

i) Knowledge of English & Hindi.

ii) Ability to interview people who matter in the news.

iii) Ability to write news stories and report events from sports.

For Editorial Assistant:

Essential:

i) Degree from a recognized University.

ii) Degree/Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university.

iii) Minimum 3 years of experience in work related to news broadcasting/news organization.

Desirable:

i) Acquaintance with national/international affairs.

ii) Matriculate in the relevant language.

Salary for Doordarshan Kendra Recruitment 2022:

For News Reader (Urdu/Kashmiri)

Rs. 1875 for Fresher per day per shift

Rs. 2400 with 03 years of experience per day per shift

Rs. 1650 per day per shift (single bulletin including language bulletin)

For Editorial Assistant:

The selected candidate will be paid Rs. 2400 per day per shift.
