• Degree from a recognized University.
• Proficiency in the language concerned and Camera friendly face with a voice of a very good quality suited to Broadcasting.
• Correct pronunciation, accent and modulation.
• Knowledge of current regional/ Indian and foreign affairs.
• Acquaintance with names of essential personalities in the Region/ India and abroad.
• Preferable Journalism background

Editorial Assistant:

• Degree from a recognized University.
• Degree/Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years experience related to news broadcasting/ news organization.

Age Limit for Doordarshan Recruitment 2022:

The age limit should be between 21 to 40 years for the candidates who are applying for the post of News Reader (Urdu/ Kashmiri) and the age limit for the candidates applying for the position of Editorial Assistant should be between the age group of 25 to 50 years.

Salary for Doordarshan Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidates for Doordarshan Recruitment will get the salary amount as per mentioned below.

• News Reader (Urdu/ Kashmiri): The candidates who will be selected for the post of News Reader (Urdu/ Kashmiri) will be getting a salary of Rs 1875 for a Fresher per day per shift, Rs 2400 with 03 years experience per day per shift and Rs 1650 per day per shift (single bulletin including language bulletin)
• Editorial Assistant: The candidates selected for the post of Editorial Assistant will be getting a salary of Rs 2400 per day per shift.
