DoPT Recruitment 2023: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is inviting applications from acceptable and desirous applicants for the position of Joint Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Director on a deputation basis in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, New Delhi – reg. Referring to the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s age upper limit must not exceed 56 years as of the application deadline.
In accordance with the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 09 available vacancies for the aforementioned position. The shortlisted applicants would be paid a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 209200. The appointment of the mentioned candidates will not exceed 03, 04 and 05 years. Qualification and Experience for DoPT Recruitment 2023:
Referring to the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the required essential and desirable qualifications and experience are mentioned below: For Joint Director (Peripatetic Training) –
Essential–
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; and
The candidates should have 10 years’ experience including two years of teaching experience in administrative and financial rules and regulations of the Government of India.
Desirable–
The candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from a recognized university.
For Deputy Director (Management Services)- Essential–
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University; and
The candidates should have 05 years’ experience including one year’s teaching experience of technique and methods in the area of management service in the Administrative Training Institute, Central Training Institute, university or college.
Desirable–
The candidates should have a Master’s Degree from a recognised university;
The candidates should have completed the Advanced Management Service Course from Government government-recognised Institute.
For Assistant Director (Office Management) – Officers under Central Government –
Essential–
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University;
The candidates should have 03 years of experience in the area of Secretariat Procedure, practices and precedents, Establishment, administrative and financial rules and regulations.
Desirable–
The candidates should have a Master’s Degree from a recognised University.
The candidates should have experience in Teaching or organizing training programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for DoPT Recruitment 2023:
In order to apply in the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s required eligibility criteria are given below:
For Joint Director (Peripatetic Training) – Officers under the Central Government:
The candidates holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
The candidates with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay band-3 z15600-39100 plus Grade pay Rs.6600) Level-11 in CPC pay matrix. or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and
For Deputy Director (Management Services)- Officers of the Central Government, or State Governments and teaching or research faculty from recognized universities of India-
The candidates holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
The candidates with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band-3, Rs. 15,600-39, 100 plus grade pay Rs. 5400 [Level 10 (Rs. 56100-177 500)] or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; or
The candidates with 06 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band-2, Rs.9300-34800 plus grade pay Rs.4800 [Level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the pay Matrix] or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
For Assistant Director (Office Management)-
The candidates holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
The candidates with 02 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay Rs.4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

In accordance with the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s maximum age limit must not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
Salary for DoPT Recruitment 2023:
Based on the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the selected applicants will be given a monthly salary upto Rs. 209200.
According to the official notification of DoPT Recruitment 2023, the following candidates have been appointed on a deputation basis: For Assistant Director (Accounts) and Assistant Director (Office Management)-
Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.
Deputy Director (Office Management)-
Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 05 years.
For Joint Director (Peripatetic Training) and Deputy Director (Management Service, Peripatetic Training )-
The Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 years.
