In accordance with the official notification of DPIIT Recruitment 2023, there are 07 vacancies open for the post of Industrial Adviser (Engineering), Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering) and Industrial Adviser (Chemical).

Age Limit for DPIIT Recruitment 2023:

Candidates should not be more than 65 years old for applying to DPIIT Recruitment 2023.

Salary for DPIIT Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of DPIIT Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Level 13A.

Tenure for DPIIT Recruitment 2023:

The engagement is made on a deputation basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 05 years. The place of posting will be in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) or Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) based on vacancies and administrative exigencies.

Eligibility Criteria for DPIIT Recruitment 2023:

Candidate must have the required eligibility criteria for applying to DPIIT Recruitment 2023, as described below-

For Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous bodies-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department. OR
• With 2 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous-

• Hold analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
• Five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 12 in the pay matrix.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory organizations-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
• With 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
• With 6 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 12 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.

Qualification and Experience for DPIIT Recruitment 2023:

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

• The candidate should have a Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
• The candidate should have 15 years of practical experience in the field of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering in any Industrial Undertaking dealing with Planning/ Development/ Production/ Research Techniques of the Engineering Industry.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have 5 years of experience in industrial undertaking exploring the latest trends/ techniques in engineering/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions in techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

• The candidate should have a degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have 4 years of experience in industrial undertaking exploring the latest trends/ techniques in engineering/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions and techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute.
• The candidates should have a degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have 5 years of experience in the Chemical Industry exploring the latest trends/ techniques in Chemical/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions and in techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.

Candidates who are eligible to enroll in DPIIT Recruitment 2023 should obtain the prescribed format from the official notification and send the same duly filled application form along with the supporting documents to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Soochna Bhavan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the closing date. The other mode of application will not be entertained.

The deadline to submit the application form is 02 months from the date of 10.10.2023.
