DRDO Recruitment 2022: DRDO invites applications from the interested candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow at DGRE, Chandigarh branch. The Stipend would be Rs. 31000/- plus HRA per month. The Date of the interview for different qualifications is 2nd and 3rd August 2022.

The Duly filled complete application form with bio-data and one set of self-attested copies of Mark sheets/Certificates (10th onwards), Caste Certificate, Experience certificates, publications, if, any addressed to The Director, Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), Him Parisar, Sector 37A, Chandigarh (UT) should be brought at the time of Walk-in interview along with a recent passport size photograph, duly affixed on the application. The candidates working in Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should bring NOC from their employer at the time of walk-in-interview.

Eligibility

Essential:

B.E./B.Tech in first division in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology with NET/GATE OR M.E/M.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engineering) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level. OR M.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology) in first division with NET/GATE.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Machine Learning/AI tools & techniques.
• Knowledge of image processing/GIS software, such as ERDAS, ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, MATLAB, Predictive modeling, etc.
• Experience in signal processing /Machine learning/Big data Analytics/Data Science.

Stipend (Rs.): 31000/- plus HRA per month

2. JRF- 01 No.

Eligibility

Essential:

Post graduate Science degree in first division in Physics/Geophysics with NET/GATE

Desirable:

• Knowledge of MATLAB/C++/Python.

Post graduate Science degree in first division in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Environmental Science with NET/GATE OR Tech/M.Sc (Tech) in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology / Environmental Science

Desirable:

(i) Computer Knowledge in Excel Stat, various Software Packages, etc.

Eligibility:

Essential:

Post Graduate Science Degree in first division in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics with NET/GATE OR ME or M.Tech in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics.

Desirable:

• Good working knowledge about: Different Image Processing and GIS software like QGIS, ArcGIS, ENVI, ERDAS etc., Hyperspectral remote sensing data analysis.
• Exposure to AI/ML based analysis and modeling.

Eligibility:

Essential:

M.Tech in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Civil Engineering. OR BE or B.Tech with first division in Civil Engineering with NET/GATE.

Desirable:

Knowledge of steel Structure Analysis / Design of micropile. Working experience of software (such as ….STAAD pro/ETAB ) or Finite Element Analysis Software (ANSYS/ABAQUS).

Age Criteria for DRDO Recruitment 2022

Maximum age 28 years for JRF and relaxation in age for 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per Govt. Rules.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2022

The tenure of Junior Research Fellowship is initially for a period of two years or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier. The fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with a prior notice of one month.

Interview Details for DRDO Recruitment 2022

Desirous candidates appearing for a walk-in interview are required to report at DGRE, Chandigarh as per the following schedule:-

• Reporting time would be 08:30 AM and Applications would be accepted up to 10:00 AM.
• Initial screening and verification of testimonials would be done between 10:00-11:00 AM on the respective interview Date.
• Interview of the screened/short listed candidates would take place from 11:00 AM onward.
