DRDO Recruitment 2022: Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting young and meritorious Indian Nationals for the post of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF). There are 03 vacancies for the given post. The upper age limit for RA is 35 years and for JRF is 28 years. The monthly remuneration paid is up to Rs. 54000.

Selection is based on a written test and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day.

The interview is to be held on 13th December 2022 and 14th December 2022 at INMAS located 1 km from Vishwavidyalaya Metro station, Delhi towards the Timarpur area/Opposite to University of Delhi (North Campus) & Nearest Land Mark is SBI ATM SSPL Branch, Timarpur, Delhi-110054.

Note- Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/testimonials w.r.t. qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview.

Name of Post, Qualification and Other Details for DRDO Recruitment 2022:

1- Post Name- Research Associate

Age-  The upper age limit is 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST/SC and by 3 years for OBC.

Tenure- The tenure of RA is maximum for a period of 2 years.

Pay Scale- Rs. 54000 + HRA.

Qualification- Ph.D. in Life Sciences.

Desirable- i. Proficient in Neurobiology or Behavioral Neuroscience.

ii. Experience in experimental animal handling and biofluid withdrawal.

iii. Rodent survival surgery, stereotactic intracranial electrode implantation, biopotential recording and analysis.

iv. Proven experience in Rodent Brain Histology, stereological analysis and Immunohistochemistry.

v. Mice Behavioral analysis and knowledge of biostatistics.

2- Post Name- Junior Research Associate-01

Age- The upper age limit is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST/SC and by 3 years for OBC.

Tenure- The tenure of JRF-01 is maximum for a period of 5 years.

Pay Scale- Rs. 31000 + HRA.

Qualification- First Class M.Sc. with NET (JRF/LS) in Physics/Applied Physics/Medical Physics/Nuclear Medicine Physics OR

First Class B.Tech with valid GATE score in Applied Physics/Engineering Physics OR

M.E./M.Tech in Physics/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics with First Class at Graduate and Post Graduate level (M.E./M. Tech. is exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines.

Desirable-  i. Specialization/work experience in Nuclear/Radiological/Medical/Computational physics or Post M.Sc. diploma in Radiological Physics from AERB recognized Institute/University.

ii. Experience/knowledge of programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB) and Operating system Linux.

iii. Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation of Radiation transport codes GEANT4, EGSnrc, MCNP.

3- Post Name- Junior Research Associate-02

Age- The upper age limit is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST/SC and by 3 years for OBC.

Tenure- The tenure of JRF-02 is maximum for a period of 5 years.

Pay Scale- Rs. 31000 + HRA.

Qualification- First Class Bachelor in Dental Science (BDS).

Desirable-  Research work related to Implantology and Dental Materials and having valid DCI registration.
