DRDO Recruitment 2023: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of DRDO Chairs, DRDO Distinguished Fellowships and DRDO Fellowships on a contract basis. As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years. There are 27 vacancies of which 18 vacancies for DRDO candidates and 09 posts for Non-DRDO candidates.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 125000. The age limit for DRDO Chairs, DRDO Distinguished Fellowships and DRDO Fellowships shall be upto a maximum of 05 years after superannuation, therefore, eligible candidates who have at least left one year of the maximum age limit beyond 31 August 2023 may apply. i.e. if a candidate has retired at the age of 58 years and his age will be less than or equal to 62 years on 31 August 2023, can apply. Interested and eligible candidates have to send their duly filled application along with all relevant documents to the address mentioned below on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates can mail their advance copy of the application form to “[email protected]”. As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the application should reach on or before 21 days from the release of notification. An incomplete application or the application received after the last date will be summarily REJECTED.

As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have a B.Tech/ B.E/M.Sc. Candidates with M Tech./ Ph.D. in a relevant subject or working area will be preferred.

DRDO Chairs
Candidates should be Scientists, retired or due to retire within 03 months i.e. by 31 August 2023 in the Pay Level-16, from the Central Government/Autonomous Body of Central Government. Lt. General or the equivalent of Armed Forces (Technical Background) i.e. possessed B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent and higher degree in the field of Science & Engineering in the Pay Level-16 can also apply.
DRDO Distinguished Fellowships
Candidates should be Scientists, retired or are due to retire within 03 months i.e by 31 August 2023 in the Pay Level-15, from Central Government/ Autonomous Body of Central Government/ Lt. General or the equivalent of Armed Forces (Technical Background) i.e possessed B Tech./B E. or equivalent and higher degree in the field of Science & Engineering in the Pay Level-15 can also apply
DRDO Fellowships
Candidates should be Scientists, retired or are due to retire within 03 months i.e. by 31 August 2023 in the Pay Level-14, from Central Government/ Autonomous Body of Central Government Major General or the equivalent of Armed Forces (Technical Background) i.e. possessed B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent and higher degree in the field of Science & Engineering in the Pay Level-14 can also apply.
Mention below is the salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:
DRDO Chairs
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 125000.
DRDO Distinguished Fellowships
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 100000.
DRDO Fellowships
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 80000.
