The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellowship and Research Associate. There are 04 vacancies open in DRDO Recruitment 2023.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the age limit for the particular posts is indicated below-

• The maximum age limit is 28 years to apply for the post of JRF.
• The maximum age limit is 35 years to apply for the post of RA.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly stipend up to Rs.67000.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Candidate must have the required qualifications for applying to DRDO Recruitment 2023 as given below-

For JRF-

• The applicant must have a B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication Engg/Electronics/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication in 1st Division with Valid NET/GATE qualification. OR
• The applicant must have an ME/M. Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication / Electronics/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication Engg in 1st Division both at Graduate and Postgraduate level.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have a Knowledge of VERILOG/VHDL.

For RA-

• The applicant must possess PhD in Physics, or M. Tech/ME in Physics with 02 years, of experience in research, teaching, Design and Development Degree should be in First Division wherever Division or equivalent grading is awarded.

Desirable-

• The applicant must be Proficient in Lasers and Quantum Optics.
• The applicant must have Hands-on experience working in experimental Quantum Optics and Free Space Optics.
• The applicant must have exposure to Quantum Technologies- recent progress developments and technology trends.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates for DRDO Recruitment 2023 will be engaged for a period of 02 years (which can be extendable for a further 02 years as per the rule in force). The extension is only valid for the post of JRF, no further extension will be granted for the post of RA.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

The selection for DRDO Recruitment 2023 is made on an interview. The date, time, venue and mode of interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidate by post and email.
