DRDO Recruitment 2023: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Consultant in the Technical Category on a contract basis in the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE). As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended as per norms. There is only 01 vacancy.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected Non-Pensioner candidate will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 14 and the selected pensioner candidate will get a monthly salary of a fixed monthly amount, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. The amount so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 63 years on the last date of the application form. As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates should be Officers/Officials who have retired from Central/ State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Universities/Govt. R&D Organizations and possessing practical knowledge and experience in the field for which he/ she is applying as per Terms of Reference for the position. Persons with experience working with DRDO would be accorded preference during selection/appointment. Candidates should have effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for an in-depth examination of his / her areas of work.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected Non-Pensioner candidate will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 14 and the selected pensioner candidate will get a monthly salary of a fixed monthly amount, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. A fixed monthly amount as conveyance allowance for the purpose of commuting between the residence and the place of work shall also be allowed at Rs. 3000 upto Pay Level 11 and at Rs. 5000 for Pay Level 12 and above.
Consultants are not eligible for any type of compensation or benefit, including Dearness Allowance, transportation services, housing, personal assistance, CGHS, medical expenses reimbursement, etc. They would be eligible for TA/ DA at the rate associated with their Grade Pay or Pay Level (as applicable) from which they retired, nonetheless, should they need to travel inside the nation as part of the organization’s official business.
