As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, applications are invited to fill 181 openings for the post of Scientist ‘B’ in various disciplines.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the required qualification as under below-

For Electronics and Communication Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Mechanical Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Electrical Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Physics-

• At least First Class Master’s Degree in Science in the subject/discipline of Physics from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Chemistry-

• At least First Class Master’s Degree in Science in the subject/discipline of Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Chemical Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Civil Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Mathematics-

• At least First Class Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Aeronautical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Material Engg/Material Science & Engg/Metallurgical Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Computer Science & Engg-

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science & Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary on  Level‐10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56100) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 100000 p.m. at the present metro city rate.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates should be a maximum age of 28 years.

Application Fee for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs.100 as an application fee and SC/ST/PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of a fee.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their GATE score. All the details will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through the RAC website. The final selection of PwD(HH), PwD(LD), and PwD(AAV/Dw) candidates against the vacancies reserved for them in the applicable disciplines will be purely on the basis of combined merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in Personal Interview.
