DRDO Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is hiring aspirates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). There are 02 open seats for the aforementioned roles. The official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2024 candidate will be appointed for a period of 02 years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated to SJF for the remaining 02/03 years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed annually and as per DRDO rules.
As given in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2024, selected applicants will receive a monthly stipend of upto Rs.46990 per month. Candidate must have a graduation and post-graduation degree in a professional course to apply for DRDO Recruitment 2024. Based on the official DRDO Recruitment 2024 notification, 28 years old should be the maximum age. The selection of candidates for DRDO Recruitment 2024, will be on the basis of GATE Score. The details regarding the selection process will be intimated later to the shortlisted applicants. Eligible and interested candidates who meet the requirement criteria must fill out the application form in the prescribed format and forward it to the address and mail id given below within 21 days from the date of publication in the employment news. Candidates are being hired by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. For the aforementioned positions, there are 02 available spots.

Candidates applying for the DRDO Recruitment 2024 must have a graduation degree in a professional course (B.E/B.TECH) in first division with NET/GATE OR Post graduation degree in professional course (M.E/M.TECH) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level OR Post graduation degree in Basic Science in first division with NET Qualification.
In accordance with DRDO regulations and the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2024, the selected candidate will be recruited as JRF for two years, after which they will be promoted to SJF for the final two or three years, provided they maintain excellent performance, which will be evaluated annually.
According to the official DRDO Recruitment 2024 notification, monthly pay of Rs. 37000 plus applicable (currently 27%) HRA will be paid. Therefore, the total compensation will be Rs.46990. Accommodations may be offered based on availability; in that instance, HRA will be subtracted.
For the DRDO Recruitment 2024, candidates will be chosen based on their GATE Score. The shortlisted candidates will be informed later on the specifics of the selection procedure. Video conferencing or in-person interviews will take place at the Dr Raja Ramanna Complex, Raj Bhavan Circle, High Grounds, Bengaluru-560001, DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory-Artificial Intelligence (DYSL).
