Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

For Research Associate (RA)-

• The maximum age limit for DRDO Recruitment 2024 should be 35 years for general candidates as on 15th Sep 2024.

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• The maximum age limit should be 28 years for general candidates as on 15th Sep 2024.

For Research Associate (RA):

• The candidates will be appointed on temporary basis for a period of (02) TWO years only

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

• The candidates will be appointed on temporary basis, initially for a period of (02) years.
• Fellowship will be initially awarded for a period of (02) Two years. Further, this may be
  upgraded as a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for a period of one year (3rd year). SRF may again be extended for a period of one more year (4th year) based on performance evaluation

Essential Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

For Research Associate (RA-01)-

• The candidate should have a Ph. D in Physics, Laser Physics, Applied Physics / Photonics / Electro-Optics / Digital Signal Processing / Image Processing and related areas.
• The candidate should have First Class M.Sc. in Physics/Laser Physics / Atomic Physics / Photonics / Electro-Optics / Digital Signal Processing / Image Processing having (04) four years of research experience in the relevant field & at least (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• The candidate should have First Class M. Tech in Physics/Laser Physics / Atomic Physics / Applied Optics/Electro-Optics / Digital Signal Processing / Image Processing having (03) three years of research experience in the relevant field & atleast (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

For Research Associate (RA-02)-

• The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence or equivalent with a specialization in Deep Learning / Machine Learning. OR
• The candidate should have First Class M. Sc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering having (04) four years of research experience in Deep Learning / Artificial Learning / Machine Learning and atleast (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. OR
• The candidate should have First Class M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering having (03) three years of research experience in Deep Learning / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence & atleast (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

For Research Associate (RA-03)-

• The candidate should have Ph. D in Mechanical Engg. / Structural Engg. / Aerospace Engg. having research work in the area of design, fabrication, classical stress analysis and FEA.
• The candidate should have First Class M. Sc in Mechanical Engg. / Structural Engg. /Aerospace Engg. having (04) four years of research experience in the area of design, fabrication, classical stress analysis , FEA and atleast (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• The candidate should have First Class M. Tech in Mechanical Engg. / Structural Engg / Aerospace Engg. having (03) three years of research experience in the area of design, fabrication, classical stress analysis , FEA and atleast (01) one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• The candidate should have First Class B.E. / B. Tech Degree or equivalent (as per AICTE) in Electrical & Electronics Engg./ Electronics and Communication Engg. / Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology /Chemical Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Metallurgy Engg. with valid GATE Score (3 Years). OR
• The candidate should have First Class B.E. / B. Tech degree or equivalent (as per AICTE) in Electrical & Electronics Engg. /Electronics and Communication Engg. / Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology /Chemical Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Metallurgy Engg. with ME / M. Tech in the relevant field. OR
• The candidate should have First Class M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry / Physics with Valid NET / GATE (3 Years) / SLET.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

The applicants for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2024 will be selected on the basis of written test/interview in DRDO Recruitment 2024.
