Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to DVC Recruitment 2024 as mentioned below-

For Executive Director (Mining)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from any Institute approved/recognized by the UGC/AICTE.
• The candidate should have a 1st Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Coal) under Coal Mining Regulations from the Director General Mines Safety(DGMS).

Experience-

• The candidate should have at least 20(twenty) years post post-qualification experience in managing, developing and operating Coal Mines.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years experience as a 1st class Mines Manager in a Mechanized Open Cast Coal Mine having at least a mine production capacity of 3.0 MTPA. OR
• The applicant should have at least eight years’ cumulative experience in Corporate planning/ Production/ Operation in open-cast Mechanized Mines/Plants and/or connected projects during the last ten years in an organization of repute.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have experience in coal mine planning and development.
• The candidate should have experience in dealing with regulatory authorities on development and operational and statutory compliances.
• The candidate should have experience in activities related to Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Forest clearances, Environmental clearance and other statutory clearances/approvals.
• Applicants with MBA qualifications will have an added advantage.

For Dy. General Manager (Law)-

• The candidate should have a full-time bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent full-time degree from BCI/Government recognized university/ Institution).

Experience-

• The candidate should have 12 years experience in the pay scale of Group-‘A’ Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (pre-revised in CDA pattern) equivalent to Pay Level10 (56100- 177500/-) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC or equivalent level post or higher, out of which 07 years experience in the field of Law related to contractual matters/arbitration / legislative matters/land acquisition/labor and service matter.

Desirable-

• The candidate should be well conversant with all legal matters and should have adequate knowledge of Law relating to contracts, Taxation, Labour and Service, Customs, Excise, commercial, Land Acquisition, Civil, Corporate Law, Arbitration, Electricity matters, etc.
• The incumbent is also expected to have in-depth knowledge and experience in vetting of deeds, drafting of legal documents, dealing with court and arbitration cases, vetting of legal documents and rendering legal advice to other departments.
• The candidates should have Business Acumen, Personal Effectiveness, People skills, the Ability to Execute, the Ability to develop themselves and others and commitment. Should have excellent leadership qualities and decision-making capabilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to lead a team of Law Professionals with a result-oriented approach and commitment to quality and assigned targets.
• Experience in PSU, particularly in the Power Sector, will be preferred.
• Significant contributions in the development of mines (preferably open cast mines) starting from greenfield projects to operations of mine will be considered as an added advantage.

For Dy. General Manager (Soil Conservation)-

• The candidate should have a Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Experience-

• The candidate should have 12 years of experience in the field of soil and water conservation and integrated Watershed Management under Central or State Government departments or Union territory Administrations or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or public sector undertakings or semi Government or autonomous or statutory organizations.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Soil and Water Conservation from a recognized university or institute.

For Executive (Soil Science)-

• The candidate should have 02 Years of full-time M. Sc. (Agriculture) in Soil Science /M.Sc. in Agriculture Chemistry from an appropriate statutory authority-approved Indian Agriculture University /Institution.

Experience-

• The candidate should have 3 years of experience in the field of soil sample analysis and advisory services on crop management or soil health management or rainfed or integrated farming in Central or State Government departments or Union territory Administrations or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or public sector undertakings or semi Government or autonomous or statutory organizations.

Tenure for DVC Recruitment 2024:

The engagement of DVC Recruitment 2024 is made on a deputation basis and the chosen candidates will be engaged for a period of 03 years from the date of joining which is extendable for a further two years at the sole discretion of DVC or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

For Executive Director (Mining)-

• The selected candidates will be posted at DVC HQ, Kolkata, or at any of its current/future mines, as per the discretion of Management.

For Dy. General Manager (Law)-

• The selected candidates will be posted at DVC HQ, Kolkata. However, in case of requirement as per discretion of DVC Management, the candidate may have to visit Projects/Field or any Govt. office.

For Dy. General Manager (Soil Conservation)-

• The selected candidates will be posted at the Soil Conservation Department, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. However, in case of requirement as per discretion of DVC Management, the candidate may have to visit Projects/Field or any Govt. office.

For Executive (Soil Science)-

• The selected candidates will be posted at the Soil Conservation Department, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. However, in case of requirement as per discretion of DVC Management, the candidate may have to visit Projects/Field or any Govt. office.

Selection Process for DVC Recruitment 2024:

The selection of DVC Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of a personal interview. The candidates may appear in Hindi/English in the Interview. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated later for the date, time and venue of the interview.
