ESIC Recruitment 2023: The Medical Superintendent of the ESIC Hospital, Udyogmandal, Ernakulum is inviting applications from eligible Doctors of the allopathic system for engagement as full-time Super Specialist/part-time Super Specialist, full-time Specialist/part-time Specialist, Senior Resident – 1 Year, and Senior Resident – 3 Year on a contract basis. As mentioned in the official notification for ESIC Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is 45 years for Senior Residents (both 1 Year and 3 Years), full-time Specialists, and full-time Super Specialist posts. The maximum age limit for part-time Specialist and part-time Super Specialist posts is 69 years, as per ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification. Reserved candidates will be given age relaxation as per the government rules.
According to ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 18 vacancies available for the above-mentioned posts in various departments for different categories. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 1,35,521 to Rs 2,40,000, depending upon the post and qualifications/experience gained by the candidate. The candidates selected for the Specialist, Super Specialist, and Senior Resident (1 year) posts will be initially appointed for a period of 1 year or until the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The tenure for Super Specialist and Specialist posts can be further increased for up to a maximum of 03 years based on the candidate’s performance. Candidates selected for the Senior Resident-3 Year post will be appointed for a duration of 03 years, subject to yearly evaluation.
Based on ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, suitable candidates will be selected on the basis of a walk-in interview. Desirous and eligible candidates will have to visit ESIC Hospital, Udyogmandal, Ernakulum, Kerala to attend the walk-in interview. Candidates will have to bring the duly filled application form in the prescribed format (given in the official notification) and all relevant documents (in original and one set of photocopies) to the interview venue mentioned above. The interview will be held on 14th September 2023. The reporting time for the interview is 09 AM. Latecomers will not be allowed.

Full-time Super Specialist/part-time Super Specialist: Candidates must hold an MBBS and MD, DM/DNB (Gastroenterology/Cardiology) degree from a recognized institution.
Full-time Specialist/part-time Specialist: Candidates must hold an MBBS and a PG Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Senior Resident – 1 Year: Candidates must have a PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized institution. Candidates with an MBBS degree+2 years experience can also be considered if PG students are not available.
Senior Resident – 3 Years: Candidates must have a PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized institution.
